Services Development of Design Concept (Study Phase) Navaid Lighting Associates' personnel are well equipped to perform on-site inspections of the existing electrical infrastructure to determine needs for expansion or replacement. Our extensive background in airport operations and maintenance allows us to interface effectively with the owner/operator of airport and airfield facilities regarding preferences in design or equipment. Design Phase Navaid Lighting Associates offers assistance to the design team in determining that the overall design concept meets current specifications and requirements of the FAA advisory circulars. Our experience brings tried and proven methods as well as new and innovative approaches to design and installation specifications. We are experienced in specification, installation and operation of the latest computer aided distributed control systems for Surface Movement Guidance Control Systems. Our assistance provides quality assurance in acceptance testing criteria for airfield cable systems, constant current regulators, and airfield lighting equipment. We also offer plans and specification review services for projects already under design. Construction Management Navaid Lighting Associates is experienced in supervising as well as training electrical inspection teams for airfield construction projects ranging from reconstruction and rewiring to complete new runway/taxiway projects at major international airports. Training Navaid Lighting Associates has developed comprehensive training programs for airfield lighting maintenance personnel as well as engineers and contractors involved in the design, installation and maintenance of airfield lighting systems. Navaid Lighting Associates, authors and instructors of the AAAE ACE Airfield Lighting Maintenance Course, offers on-site training for airports and military airfields as well as for contractors and engineering firms. These training programs are offered on-site for airports and military facilities which enables our experienced personnel to evaluate an airport or military airfield's current systems and maintenance practices to suggest methods for improvement.
